Acerca de mí
Hi I am a mother of three boys, we are Icelanders and live in Iceland even though my profile says Sweden(there was no Iceland on the choose your country list) :)
I love to cook and bake. I started pretty early following my grandmother who was on her feet in the kitchen almost all day, they lived on a farm and her job was to feed everybody that worked outside most of the day. Along with cooking and baking everything from scratch she cleaned the house, did laundry, ironing, sewed clothes and knitted sweaters, socks and mittens, what a amazing woman right! I learned everything from her and really enjoyed it. Later when I was about 14 I started collecting recipes and still do that, I haven´t made everything but love reading some of them to get inspired and make my own versions. Somehow a couple of times in my life I have been offered to work part time as a cook and I got a lot of experience from that along with the best of time.
In a few words I love to travel, cook, gardening, knitting and crafting, drink coffee, be with my friends and family, listen to music, be outdoors and basically enjoying life.
I will put traditional Icelandic recipes here and some that I have made a few changes and are my favorite.
