Acerca de mí
Draeger’s Cooking School hosts restaurant chefs and cookbook authors from around the country, from Food Network’s Tyler Florence to Chez Panisse’s Alice Waters to Thomas Keller of The French Laundry. The school has been honored with an International Association of Culinary Professionals award-nomination for best avocational cooking school in the nation. Along with cooking demonstrations by luminaries such as Chicago’s Charlie Trotter and small hands-on cooking classes taught by local chefs, the school has offered innovative programs such as wine education, culinary movie nights and a symposium on sustainable agriculture.
The schools are located in Draeger’s Supermarkets in San Mateo, Menlo Park and Danville. The markets have been recognized as an international destination for gourmands and been featured in publications including Gourmet, Bon Appetit and The New York Times. In addition to a staggering array of wines, cheeses and olive oils, Draeger’s carries specialty items such as doughnut peaches, Himalayan pink salt and kaffir lime syrup. The market’s upscale HOME department offers cookware from All-Clad and Le Creuset, as well as Versace and Rosenthal servingware.
