Hey there! I’m Elena, a 22-year-old UCLA alum living in Los Angeles. When I’m not busy food blogging, I work as an Editorial Assistant at Breitbart News Network, a conservative news and opinion website. I am totally obsessed with cooking, baking, and anything food and wine related.

I grew up in beautiful Sonoma County in Northern California, where some of the best food and wine on this planet can be enjoyed. My mom’s side of the family is Irish-Italian, so food has always been a major part of my life. I learned to cook at a young age by watching my mom and occasionally helping her.

I love cooking to this day because I find it extremely therapeutic, relaxing, distracting, and rewarding. No matter how my day may be going, I can always count on cooking a delicious meal with a glass of wine in hand to make it all better. Eating is something that we do three times a day, every day, so the possibilities and opportunities are endless. Due to this, I am constantly looking for inspiration. I have many interests outside of food as well, which I’ve tried my best to summarize below. A friend once told me I’m “obsessed with being obsessed with things”, which I think is an accurate assessment :)
