Very Ecelectic small plates menu. Mediterranean, middle eastern, far eastern. This for me is a place where the food combos can be a bit odd at times. Allot of popular buzz but did not love it.

Brunch is excellent. Service is good. They have a drag brunch the last sunday of the month friends and I are dying to try for a kick.

Wildflower Cafe (St. Louis, MO)

Excellent Dinner menu. Lots of healthy options as well as the traditional favorites. I had a plank steamed salmon with an excellent israeli cous cous that was to die for. Companion had prime rib that was so large it seemed it required a hand truck to carry it out. The horseradish sauce and french fried unions served with it were delish. Seafood Bruschetta apetizer was great and they have a nice affordable wine list. The Malbec is always a good choice.

Abacus (Dallas, TX)

Glad I went to this restaurant during restaurant week, because it is pricy and this gave us a chance to try it out with out breaking the bank. Seriously I think I would have been disappointed if I was paying top dollar for a meal here. The Chef Kent Rathburn did come by but really this did not improve our experience. 2 Words OVER RATED.

Rise (Dallas, TX)

This country french themed restaurant specializes in Souffle. Very Very good. All of the souffe's across the board are great and they have nice accompaniments. Excellent wine list and nice cheese and bread choices that make this place a great stop for either dinner, a chat and nosh with pals or dessert after the theatre. LOVE THIS PLACE.

Farmhaus (St. Louis, MO)

Just had dinner with friends there in December 2012. My impression was so so....very tiny portions of somewhat bizarre items. We did a chef's choice price fixe menu with wine pairing which was nice. I just wasn't crazy about the selections. Not just on the price fixe menu but in general. Also very pricey. This is one of those places that touts everything coming from local sources. I don't have a problem with this, I just guess I don't like the choices...

Mariano's Hacienda (Dallas, TX)

I have decided this is by far my favorite tex mex restaurant in Dallas. Lots of things to love. I have never had a bad meal there. I don't go to their Mariano's Hacienda Ranch restaurants (Tex Mex mixed with Texas Steakhouse) as much as Marianos Hacienda but either way it's a great place and I LOVE IT!.

Scallini's (Dallas, TX)

Great little spot in lakewood for pizza and salads. They deliver and are always a go to for yummy thin crust pizzas. I am from a city with great Italian and Pizza places (St. Louis) and this is comparable with the good small local guys down on the hill. Okay for dining in, but noisy and very pizza parlorish. They also do carry out so you can stop in and take it home.

Pizza by Marco (Dallas, TX)

Great little neighborhood pizzeria. They have been in business since 1956 and are an old sicillian family. Love their thin crust Pizzas. No dining room but great for Pick up. they now deliver if you live near one (which I don't) so unless I am in the area and can pick up I usually have to pass on this gem. Super yummy though, go for it if you are in the area!

Love love love this place! Turkish Cuisine is one of my fav's (similar to Greek if you don't know it)
