I simply love to cook! My dad (now late) read hotel management in England in the sixties and went through the whole work-your-way-through-the-hotel-set-up thing. He was a waiter, all kinds of chef, an administrator etc. he retired in the eighties as manager of one of the few five star hotels we had in Nigeria.(Ikoyi Hotel)
As you might have guessed, growing up was fun! We (my sisters and I) were privileged to spend weekends with him at the Hotel and as they say, the rest is history. We got into some mischief but on the whole, we learnt a lot. All three of us are good cooks but I've taken it as more than a hobby.
My husband and two children love my cooking and I get "rave reviews" anytime i get a catering order. I've done a few weddings and a number of parties but I'm nowhere near where I want to be. Stumbling on cookeatshare was such a blessing.
Look out Lagos!!!
