Acerca de mí
I started cooking at a young age and after attending the University of Maryland I decided to cook professionally. I worked in some of L.A.'s best restaurants including Patina, AOC, Grace, and Meson G, before accepting the chef job at Blue Velvet. While there we received a 2 and half stars from the times, made gayot's rising star chef list and were on the long list for the James Beard rising star chef award. I am currently preparing to open a Modern Mexican restaurant downtown called Casa. There we hope to bring a new light to authentic mexican flavor, while applying modern technique and attention to detail. We are going to have a great time doing it too.
