Acerca de mí
In addition to being the voice behind The Spiced Life, I am a stay at home mom. I am completely unable to put myself in a box when it comes to food so I hope you’ll enjoy my jumping from a rich and indulgent chocolate dessert to a Thai curry to a Spanish tapas dish to Scottish shortbread. My idea of complete bliss is lying in the sun on the beach–and the fact that I don’t live near one probably explains a lot about my state of mind. Instead I live in a small college town in southwest Ohio somewhat in the middle of nowhere–but I can get to civilization in about 45 minutes. My favorite season is fall and then spring–I think I like looking forward to change more than either extreme. I regard January through November as merely being the warm-up to the Holidays.

- 29 de Marzo de 2012Laura,
Thanks for accepting the friend request. I have never cooked Moroccan and look forward to trying your recipes. - 09 de Diciembre de 2011Laura, I have been trying to access your "Butter Crunch Recipe 2 Ways" and it is not coming up. I have accessed it before and have made it a few times. It is one of the best recipes I have ever tried and I can say not one person who has tried it does not love it. Is there anyway you could e-mail it to me? If so please let me know and I will send you my e-mail. Thanks so much,1 reply

- 10 de Febrero de 2011Hi Laura, I am new to this CookEatShare website. I was looking up sponge cake and found your chocolate sponge cake - sounds great. I noticed you mentioned type of recipe that was to be made (for the month). How do I find which recipe is next, or is this request from your followers to you? Thank you - I think it might be a fun way to try new recipes. Katrina1 reply

- 31 de Enero de 2011Great, Laura - Where will you be going and how long will you be there? You will find my recipes and tips 100% accurate. - 30 de Enero de 2011Welcome to the Moroccan Cuisine group! I will continually add new recipes, building on the foundation I am laying down. I hope you will start by preserving some lemons (even 2-4 is enough for the home cook) and try your hand at the bread. I look forward to hearing from you, and if there is any special request, I'm more than glad to take it! Welcome - marhaba. Laura! - Amos1 reply
- 31 de Enero de 2011Thanks for welcome. I actually have 2 Moroccan dishes coming up soon on my blog although it is true I have yet to preserve lemons. I'm extra excited about Moroccan food right now because I'm heading there this summer!
