Acerca de mí
We are a multi-generational, blended family. I am married to a man who likes most things I cook, although he would prefer fried. In addition, my mother lives about 20 miles away, one daughter lives 40 miles away, while the other lives over 1000 miles to the West. I have a step-son that lives ten miles from us and two step-daughters. One is less than 25 miles from us, and the other is several hundred miles away. We have 9 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. My mother had limited background in cooking. I know, now, that a lot of things she taught me were just plain wrong. She had a Betty Crocker cookbook and her mother's depression era recipes. I learned more about cooking in my Junior High School Home Ec classes. Then more recently, I learned a lot from television chefs, such as Sarah Molten.
