Acerca de mí
I love cooking and my claim to fame was cooking on Britain's Best Dish in 2009 and winning through to the semi finals. I did my speciality which was a spicy caribbean soup which I believe is now in the book as one of the chosen recipes. I really love making soup although I do make a lot more other things. I am also very good at making gluten and wheat free cupcakes that do not taste any different from normal cakes. I have been told by family and friends to do Master Chef but I have not had the time with my business. I have written a children's cookbook which is available on amazon.co.uk and www.yukihatevegibles.co.uk. The book features all the characters as chefs in Twitch's Woofy Cook Book of Sneaky Recipes. I have also invented a new oven glove called a Gloven. website www.gloven.co.uk so my life is pretty hectic as you can imagine.
Influencias de Cocina
My parentage is Caribbean so a lot of my influences in my cooking are lots of herbs and spices with definitely a carribean flavour. Nothing plain. I love marinating foods as they taste so much better. I do love Indian food and Thai so I also use a lot of these flavours in my cooking. My motto is never to cook the same meal twice.
