I love to cook and am always looking for new recipes and new adventures. Having never learned to cook when I was young I have become a totally self taught cooker. Cook books have become one of my best friends.
My main reason for starting a blog was so that my daughter could look up the recipes on line and have them readily at hand. Our previous way was over the phone while she was making whatever meal for that eveningt. I guess I never taught her to cook when she was young but the more likely answer is that she wasn't interested at the time.

Basically I prefer fresh veggies and raw salads. Transferring old comfort foods to vegetarian meals has become a passion for me these days. Veganism has also been creeping in to my cooking as well.

My main culinary influlence is Italian, although I am not Italian myself, I somehow relate to that cuisine and embrace the comforting concept of garlic, pasta, tomatoes, and cheese.
