I've always enjoyed good food but cooking as a passion started only after my daughter was born, 7 years ago. Over these seven years, I've seen myself, my tastes and my cooking methods/philosophies evolve. I have a ways to go as there is so much to explore, even within my own ethnic culinary background.
I love Thai, Vietnamese and Burmese food. I enjoy Italian and Mexican just as much. Within Indian cuisines, I love Gujarati (food from the state of Gujarat in India) and most North Indian delicacies. I love the traditional Kannadiga (from the southern state of Karnataka in India) Brahmin fare (even within a state, there are various food cultures/cuisines based on geography, religion, caste etc) that my mother and grandmother used to cook. In fact, I started my blog as an attempt to capture those recipes. Over the years though, it has become a storehouse of anything that I liked and enjoyed and foods from various cuisines.
