Receta Almost Apple Pie
A quick & easy way to satisfy a sweet craving. Using carrot juice makes a thick, sweet caramelized sauce with no added sweeteners.
Ingredientes
- 1 small apple or 1/2 large apple, cored & sliced in 1/2 inch segments
- (Gala or Pink Lady varieties are my faves, but any kind should work)
- Approx. 1/3 cup Carrot juice
- Splash of Lemon juice or diluted Orange juice
- Tablespoon Quick Cook Oats
- Cinnamon to taste
Direcciones
- Place apple slices in a microwave safe bowl
- Add remaining ingredients
- Cover and cook for 1-1 1/2 min (Time may vary with microwaves and how soft you want your apples)
- Stir and enjoy!
