A quick & easy way to satisfy a sweet craving. Using carrot juice makes a thick, sweet caramelized sauce with no added sweeteners.

  • 1 small apple or 1/2 large apple, cored & sliced in 1/2 inch segments
  • (Gala or Pink Lady varieties are my faves, but any kind should work)
  • Approx. 1/3 cup Carrot juice
  • Splash of Lemon juice or diluted Orange juice
  • Tablespoon Quick Cook Oats
  • Cinnamon to taste

Direcciones

  1. Place apple slices in a microwave safe bowl
  2. Add remaining ingredients
  3. Cover and cook for 1-1 1/2 min (Time may vary with microwaves and how soft you want your apples)
  4. Stir and enjoy!
