- 1 c. Rice vinegar
- 1 tsp Light soy sauce
- 1 slc Fresh gingerroot, cut in several pcs

- In response to Sarah Novotny's request, here are two oriental dressing which Schlesinger. I found the book at a bookstore which sells overstocks and used books. While I have not tried any of the recipes yet, they look very good.
- She follows Ornish-based recipes and includes fast, microwave recipes.
- Yield: 4 servings (1/4 c each)
- Prep time: 10 min plus 45 minutes. standing time
- This dressing features rice vinegar and low-sodium soy sauce infused w/ the flavors of ginger and garlic. It goes well w/ a salad of mixed greens and fruit. (author's comments)
- 1. Combine garlic, rice vinegar, gingerroot, and soy sauce.
- 2. Let stand for 45 min.
- 3. Strain dressing. Throw away garlic and ginger.
