Receta Aunt Mable's Apricot Filled Cookies

Ingredientes
- 1 (1 pound) box brown sugar
- 1 c. Crisco
- 2 large eggs
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 3 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 7 c. flour
- 1 can apricot filling or possibly make your own by cooking apricots in small amount of water and mashing them
Direcciones
- Cream sugar, Crisco; add in beaten large eggs. Sift dry ingredients; add in alternately with mixer. Refrigerate dough overnight. Roll dough to 1/8-inch thickness. Cut into circles. Put 1 tsp of apricot filling between two cookies and seal edges with a fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-18 min. When cool, dust with powdered sugar.
