Receta Aunt Perl's version of Grandma Nellie's Homemade Raisin Bread

Ingredientes
- 2 Yeast (1 Dry & 1 Wet)
- 2 TBLS. Sugar
- 2 Cups Flour
- BOIL AND COOL 2 CUPS OF MILK (HOMOGENIZED)
- 1/4 Cup Oil
- 1/2 Lbs. Oleo
- 2 1/2 Cups Sugar
- 1 TBLS. Salt
- 6 BEATEN EGGS
- 4 TO 10 CUPS OF FLOUR
- 1 BOX RAISINS WHITE OR DARK

- Combine 2 Yeast (1 Dry & 1 Wet) until double for 2-3 hours or overnight. Add 2 TBL Sugar and 2 Cups Flour (should look like Pancake batter.
- Boil and cool milk. Combine Oil, Oleo, Sugar and Salt.
- Add 6 beaten eggs.
- ADD FROM 4 TO 10 CUPS OF FLOUR (4 OR 5) SO THAT DOUGH IS NOT STICKY.
- WASH 1 BOX RAISINS WHITE OR DARK(OR HALF AND HALF) AND DRAIN
- AHEAD OF TIME AND ADD TO ABOVE INGREDIENTS. COVER AND LET RISE 1 OR 2 HOURS
- PUT IN WELL GREASED PANS AND COVER AND LET RISE AGAIN
- BRUSH A WHOLE EGG ON TOP OF BREAD BEFORE PLACING IN THE OVEN.
- BAKE:::275 DEGREE OVEN - 15 MIN.
- 325 DEGREE OVEN - 30 MIN.
- 300 DEGREE OVEN - 30 MIN. TOTAL BAKING TIME 1 TO 1 1/4 HRS.
