Receta Authentic Swedish Meatballs

Ingredientes
- 1 pound grnd chuck
- 1/4 pound grnd pork
- Scant c. of bread crumbs
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of each: salt, pepper, allspice, nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon onion pwdr
Direcciones
- Mix all ingredients well. Shape into 1 inch balls. Brown in a well heated heavy fry pan greased lightly on all sides. Takes about 1/2 hour to brown all sides.Add in 2 cups of beef consomme. Cover tightly and cook for 1 1/2 hrs. Thicken broth for gravy at end of cooking.
