Ingredientes
- 1 c. Sifted cake flour
- 2 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 c. White sugar
- 3 Tbsp. Cocoa
- 1/2 c. Minced nuts
- 1/2 c. Lowfat milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. Melted shortening
- 4 Tbsp. Cocoa
- 1/2 c. Brown sugar
- 1 3/4 c. Warm water
- 1 tsp Grated orange rind
Direcciones
- Sift the first five ingredients together. Add in the nuts. Make a well in the centre and add in lowfat milk, vanilla and melted shortening. Stir lightly and pour batter into a greased casserole. SAUCE: Measure cocoa, brown sugar, warm water and orange rind into a bowl and beat well. Pour over batter. Bake for 35 to 40 min at 350F. As this dessert bakes, the batter rises through the rich chocolate sauce. Serve it warm with whipped cream or possibly vanilla ice cream.
