Receta Baked Honey~BBQ Whole Chicken
Perfect for a Sunday Family Meal, super tender and flavorful.
Ingredientes
- One Whole Chicken (4-5 lbs.)
- 1-1/2 cups Chicken Stock (low sodium) or Chicken Broth
- 2 Whole Lemons (juice of both, halved, grilled)
- 1 Cup Honey BBQ (Any brand will work)
- 3 tablespoons butter (cut into pieces)
- Salt and Black Pepper, to taste
- Garnish with spring of Fresh Rosemary
Direcciones
- Pre Heat Oven 375 F
- Using a large Roasting pan add 1-1/2 cups chicken stock (low sodium) or Broth, add whole chicken, add salt and black pepper, Honey BBQ sauce and using a brush coat well, squeeze some lemon juice over the bird
- Add butter pieces around carcass, cover with aluminum foil and place into the hot oven, Bake 55 minutes
- Remove foil and continue baking for 15 minutes.
- Using a grill or griddle pan quickly grill lemon halves and place around roasting pan during the final baking time
- Remove from oven allow to rest a few minutes, garnish with fresh Rosemary
