Receta Beef Curry With Apple

Ingredientes
- 2 lbs. boneless beef, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 3 tbsp. drippings (or possibly oil)
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon curry pwdr
- 3 whole cloves
- 2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 lg. onion, thinly sliced
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 c. water
- 3 lg. tart apples, cut into eighths
- 1 c. raisins (opt.)
- Cooked rice
Direcciones
- Combine flour, salt, pepper and dredge meat. Brown meat in drippings. Pour off excess. Add in bay leaf, curry, cloves, sugar, onion, garlic and water. Cover tightly and cook slowly for 2 hrs. Add in apple and raisins and cook 45 min. Throw away bay leaf and garlic and serve over rice. Serves 6.
