- 1 lb. flank steak or London broil, cut into thin slices (partially freezing helps make thinly slicing the meat easier)

- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil or vegetable oil
- 12 ounces broccoli florets (about 4 cups), broken into bite-sized pieces
- 1 small onion, halved and sliced
- 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
- 2 carrots, peeled and thinly sliced (optional)
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
