- 2 Tbsp Tuvar dal
- 1/2 Tbsp Rice flour, mixed in a Tbsp of water
- For Grinding
- 1/4 Cup grated coconut
- 1-2 Red chillies, depending on spice level
- 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
- For Tempering
- 1 Tbsp Coconut oil
- 1/4 tsp Mustard seeds
- 1 tsp Channa dal
- 1/2 tsp Urad dal
- Few curry leaves
- 1/4 tsp Asafoetida
