Ingredientes
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Dash pepper
- 2 c. soft bread crumbs
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 pound pork shoulder, grnd
- 1 pound veal shoulder, grnd
- 5 to 6 strips bacon
Direcciones
- Set oven for moderate, 350 degrees. Combine first 6 ingredients. Let stand 5 min. Add in onion and meat; mix well. Line a loaf pan, 8 x 5 x 3 inches, with bacon across the width of pan. Pack meat mix into pan. Bake 1 1/2 hrs. Remove from oven. Invert meat loaf on baking sheet; lift off pan; raise oven temperature to very warm, 450 degrees. Return meat loaf to oven for about 10 min to crisp bacon. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
