Receta Blazing Saddles Chili

Ingredientes
- 5 slices bacon, fried
- 8 ounce. pork sausage
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 1 green pepper
- 1 med. onion
- 2 tbsp. garlic
- Dash of pepper
- 1 stalk celery
- 16 ounce. can stewed tomatoes
- 8 ounce. can tomato sauce
- 15 ounce. can kidney beans
- 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tbsp. chili pwdr
Direcciones
- In a Dutch oven, brown grnd beef and sausage, add in green pepper, onion and celery and cook till tender. Drain drippings. Add in garlic, pepper, salt, chili pwdr, tomatoes and tomato sauce. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Simmer for 15 min. Add in kidney beans. Crumble bacon and add in to chili. Simmer for 10 min.
- Just before serving, add in Cheddar cheese and let heat on top. Serve with corn bread muffins.
