I first heard about Zuzana from BodyRock.tv about a month ago. Stefan showed me one of her workout videos which was being passed around the stock broker network in Frankfurt and I was both awed and inspired by her right then. Check her out in the video below; it’s just one of many simple yet killer workouts that she has online.

%20and%20do%20the%20workout%20then.%20Mackenzie%20usually%20sleeps%20until%208%20or%20so%20which%20will%20give%20me%20plenty%20of%20time%20to%20exercise%20and%20shower%20before%20she%20gets%20up.%20I%E2%80%99ll%20work%20out%20Monday-Friday%20and%20rest%20on%20Saturdays%20and%20Sundays.%20Yes,%20this%20is%20hard%20on%20the%20body%20and%20I%20may%20end%20up%20doing%20a%20cardio%20day%20on%20Wednesday%20instead%20(maybe%20with%20my%20boxing%20program%20on%20Wii)%20but%20we%E2%80%99ll%20see%20how%20it%20goes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAs%20I%20starting%20off%20point,%20I%E2%80%99m%205%E2%80%9911%E2%80%9D%20(180cm)%20tall,%20weigh%20127%20pounds%20and%20have%2027%25%20body%20fat%20(according%20to%20my%20digital%20scale%20which%20calculates%20that%20for%20me.)%20Obviously%20I%20don%E2%80%99t%20have%20much%20fat%20to%20burn%20but%20rather%20want%20to%20get%20my%20muscles%20in%20shape%20and%20well%20toned.%20I%20haven%E2%80%99t%20worked%20out%20much%20in%20the%20last%20year%20(since%20before%20I%20was%20pregnant%20with%20Mackenzie)%20but%20take%20two%20daily%20walks%20with%20Ayla%20which%20are%20about%2030%20minutes%20each%E2%80%A6and%20lately%20they%E2%80%99ve%20become%20more%20challenging%20while%20pushing%20a%20stroller%20through%207+%20inches%20of%20snow!%20%20I%20tried%20a%20Wii%20Fit%20program%20for%20a%20while%20but%20always%20found%20it%20too%20time%20consuming%20while%20cycling%20through%20exercises.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20always%20feel%20better%20when%20I%E2%80%99m%20working%20out,%20though,%20and%20certainly%20need%20the%20core%20training%20for%20my%20back%20these%20days.%20Mackenzie%20isn%E2%80%99t%20getting%20any%20lighter%20and%20now%20that%20she%E2%80%99s%20getting%20closer%20to%20walking,%20we%E2%80%99ll%20be%20trying%20to%20take%20on%20some%20of%20the%20projects%20around%20here%20that%20we%20didn%E2%80%99t%20get%20to%20last%20year.%20To%20me,%20exercise%20is%20a%20core%20component%20of%20living%20a%20healthy%20life.%20Diet%20is%20another%20one%20of%20those%20aspects.%20Thankfully%20we%20eat%20very%20little%20fast%20food%20and%20have%20home-cooked%20meals%20nearly%20every%20night.%20The%20only%20thing%20we%E2%80%99ll%20need%20to%20work%20on%20is%20adding%20more%20fresh%20veggies%20and%20fruits%20to%20our%20diet%E2%80%A6so%20we%20better%20find%20a%20way%20to%20get%20our%20salad%20table%20warmed%20up%20quickly%20so%20we%20have%20fresh%20greens%20to%20eat!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20also%20need%20to%20reintroduce%20myself%20to%20my%202%20liter%20bottle%20of%20water%20and%20start%20chugging%20water%20down%20again.%20I%20drank%20tons%20of%20water%20while%20pregnant%20and%20right%20after%20Mackenzie%20was%20born,%20but%20now%20that%20I%E2%80%99m%20chasing%20her%20all%20over%20the%20house,%20my%20bottle%20is%20rarely%20nearby.%20The%20advantage%20of%20using%20one%20large%20water%20bottle%20that%20you%20need%20to%20polish%20off%20every%20day%20is%20that%20you%20don%E2%80%99t%20need%20to%20keep%20track%20of%20how%20much%20water%20you%20drank%20during%20the%20day%E2%80%A6the%20bottle%20does%20that%20for%20you.%20Fill%20it%20up%20once%20in%20the%20morning%20and%20drink%20it%20all%20during%20the%20day%20until%20it%E2%80%99s%20gone!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhat%20I%20like%20about%20the%20BodyRock%20beginner%E2%80%99s%20program%20is%20that%20you%20can%20do%20it%20virtually%20anywhere%20with%20very%20little%20equipment,%20assuming%20you%20can%20remember%20the%20steps%20(or%20have%20a%20cheat%20sheet%20for%20yourself).%20Even%20on%20the%20more%20advanced%20stuff,%20Zuzana%20mixes%20things%20up%20and%20you%20can%20pick%20or%20chose%20your%20workouts%20based%20on%20what%20you%20have%20available.%20A%20lot%20of%20the%20more%20advanced%20workouts%20are%20done%20as%20quickly%20as%20possible%20so%20you%20not%20only%20get%20your%20workout%20done%20quickly%20(10-20%20minutes%20for%20the%20entire%20workout)%20but%20you%20also%20get%20a%20really%20hard%20workout.%20This%20is%20especially%20helpful%20for%20parents%20working%20from%20home%20whose%20time%20is%20precious%20as%20they%20balance%20all%20their%20various%20hats%20on%20their%20heads.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20let%E2%80%99s%20get%20started!%20Do%20you%20want%20to%20workout%20with%20me?%20I%E2%80%99ll%20be%20posting%20a%20new%20BodyRock%20Challenge%20post%20every%20Friday.%20There%20I%20will%20recap%20my%20own%20progress%20from%20the%20previous%20week,%20leave%20some%20motivation%20for%20all%20of%20us%20and%20announce%20any%20changes%20to%20the%20workout%20routine.%20If%20you%20aren%E2%80%99t%20ready%20to%20move%20up%20to%20the%20next%20level,%20don%E2%80%99t%20worry;%20just%20keep%20working%20out%20at%20the%20current%20level%20until%20you%20feel%20it%E2%80%99s%20too%20easy%20or%20you%20notice%20you%20aren%E2%80%99t%20winded%20at%20the%20end%20of%20the%20workout.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlease%20leave%20a%20comment%20below%20if%20you%E2%80%99ll%20be%20working%20out%20with%20me.%20I%E2%80%99ll%20add%20a%20Mr.%20Linky%20to%20the%20bottom%20of%20each%20BodyRock%20meme%20post%20if%20there%E2%80%99s%20a%20lot%20of%20responses.
