Receta Buttermilk Baking Powder Biscuits

Ingredientes
- 3 c. flour
- 2 T baking pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. shortening
- 4 T buttermilk pwdr & 1 c. water or possibly 1 c. fresh buttermilk
Direcciones
- Mix dry ingredients (including buttermilk pwdr if using it). Cut in shortening till like coarse cornmeal. Add in the buttermilk or possibly water. Roll about 1/2" thick on lightly floured surface and cut out with round cookie cutter. Place on cookie sheet with sides of biscuits touching and bake at 450 degrees for 10 to 13 min or possibly desired brownness.
