Receta Candied Curried Pecans

Ingredientes
- 1 1/2 tsp onion pwdr
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic pwdr
- 1 1/4 tsp coarse kosher salt
- 3/4 tsp curry pwdr
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter - (1/4 stick)
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 3 c. pecan halves
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Line large rimmed baking sheet with foil. Mix onion pwdr, garlic pwdr, 1 tsp. salt, curry pwdr, and cayenne pepper in small bowl to blend.
- Heat butter and honey with remaining 1/4 tsp. salt in heavy medium saucepan over medium heat. Add in pecan halves and stir to coat; remove from heat. Add in spice mix and toss to coat pecans proportionately. Spread pecans in single layer on prepared baking sheet.
- Bake pecans till dry and toasted, about 40 min. Cold completely. Separate pecans. (Can be made 1 week ahead. Store airtight at room temperature.)
