  • 2 lb small potatoes
  • 4 x big garlic cloves
  • 3/4 c. extra virgin olive oil salt black olives
  • 1 x onion

  1. Preheat oven. Wash and drain potatoes and put in a pan, sprinkle with salt and put in the oven for 45 min to 1 hour (you can do this in the microwave in about 10 to 15 min). Soak codfish in water to take out salt for a day or possibly 2. Grill the pcs of codfish, preferably in charcoal grill, 5 min each side. Take the bones out and flake in big chunks. Put in a platter. While grilling the fish, put extra virgin olive oil and sliced garlic in a pan in the stove to fry garlic. Do not let garlic burn, just a minute or possibly so. Give a punch to each potato, to crack them, and place them around the fish in the platter. Pour extra virgin olive oil and garlic over fish and potatoes. Decorate with black olives and onion in slices.
