.%20This%20is%20a%20meal%20I%20first%20made%20when%20I%20was%20living%20in%20the%20apartment%20and%20first%20learning%20to%20cook.%20The%20picture%20above%20is%20J's%20plate.%20Mine%20had%20more%20broccoli,%20less%20rice,%20and%20a%20smaller%20piece%20of%20chicken,%20unfortunately%20it%20didn't%20photograph%20well,%20so%20this%20is%20the%20best%20we%20have.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhen%20I%20was%20living%20in%20the%20apartment%20I%20was%20just%20as%20much%20of%20a%20recipe%20junkie%20as%20I%20am%20now,%20except%20I%20didn't%20know%20about%20all%20the%20wonderful%20resources%20on%20the%20net.%20I%20also%20didn't%20have%20as%20many%20cookbooks%20(not%20that%20I%20have%20too%20many,%2044,%20now,%20but%20I%20have%20run%20out%20of%20room%20and%20I%20can't%20buy%20many%20more%20until%20we%20either%20move%20or%20rearrange%20the%20house.).%20In%20those%20days%20I%20spent%20most%20of%20my%20time%20using%20allrecipes.com.%20At%20the%20time%20I%20adored%20the%20site.%20Now%20I%20have%20tried%20branching%20out%20more%20and%20have%20become%20more%20of%20a%20foodie,%20I%20don't%20use%20it%20as%20much.%20I%20am%20a%20little%20more%20selective%20about%20my%20cooking%20these%20days%20as%20well.%20Every%20once%20in%20a%20while%20I%20still%20go%20back%20and%20use%20one%20of%20the%20really%20great%20recipes%20I%20found%20there%20or%20I%20find%20something%20I%20had%20really%20meant%20to%20try%20but%20most%20of%20the%20time%20I%20am%20spending%20my%20time%20reading%20and%20browsing%20through%20the%20wonderful%20world%20of%20food%20blogs.%20I%20only%20discovered%20they%20existed%20last%20year.%20I%20don't%20think%20I%20really%20thought%20about%20how%20blogs%20could%20have%20a%20theme.%20I%20just%20thought%20people%20were%20using%20them%20as%20an%20online%20type%20diary,%20which%20I%20thought%20was%20a%20little%20juvenile%20and%20lame%20to%20put%20your%20diary%20online%20for%20all%20to%20see.%20I%20don't%20know%20how%20I%20stumbled%20onto%20a%20food%20blog,%20nor%20do%20I%20remember%20the%20first%20one%20I%20found%20(it%20might%20have%20been%20101%20Cookbooks).%20At%20any%20rate%20I%20was%20completely%20hooked.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20is%20one%20of%20my%20favorite%20recipes%20from%20allrecipes.com.%20I%20have%20a%20few%20others%20I%20really%20enjoy%20but%20I%20think%20I've%20made%20this%203%20or%204%20times%20now%20(which%20is%20really%20saying%20something).%20I%20have%20modified%20the%20recipe%20somewhat%20and%20I%20still%20wish%20I%20had%20my%20mom's%20because%20I%20think%20her%20recipe%20tasted%20the%20same%20without%20the%20bouillon%20cube%20which%20I%20would%20prefer%20not%20to%20use%20in%20the%20future.%20I%20served%20this%20with%20steamed%20rice%20and%20broccoli.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPound%20chicken%20breasts.%20Place%20a%20cheese%20and%20ham%20slice%20on%20each%20breast%20within%201/2%20inch%20of%20the%20edges.%20Fold%20the%20edges%20of%20the%20chicken%20over%20the%20filling,%20and%20secure%20with%20toothpicks.%20Mix%20the%20flour%20and%20paprika%20in%20a%20small%20bowl,%20and%20coat%20the%20chicken%20pieces.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHeat%20the%20butter%20in%20a%20large%20skillet%20over%20medium-high%20heat,%20and%20cook%20the%20chicken%20until%20browned%20on%20all%20sides.%20Add%20the%20wine%20and%20bouillon.%20Reduce%20heat%20to%20low,%20cover,%20and%20simmer%20for%2010-30%20minutes,%20until%20chicken%20is%20no%20longer%20pink%20and%20juices%20run%20clear.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBlend%20the%20cornstarch%20with%20the%20cream%20in%20a%20small%20bowl,%20and%20whisk%20slowly%20into%20the%20skillet.%20Cook,%20stirring%20until%20thickened.%20Remove%20the%20toothpicks,%20and%20transfer%20the%20breasts%20to%20a%20warm%20platter%20and%20pour%20sauce%20over%20the%20chicken.%20Serve%20with%20steamed%20rice,%20with%20extra%20sauce%20on%20the%20rice.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
