Receta "Chicken" Patties

Ingredientes
- 2 x 15 ounce cans garbanzo beans
- 1 1/2 c. quick-cooking oats, uncooked
- 1 x clove garlic, chopped salt and pepper to taste

- Drain garbanzo beans, reserving liquid. In a food processor or possibly blender, process beans with about 1/2 c. liquid, adding more liquid if needed to make a smooth, thick paste. In a medium mixing bowl, combine bean paste, oats, garlic, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix well, adding additional bean liquid or possibly oats as necessary to make a mix which holds together well and keeps its shape.
- Shape mix into 8 patties about 1/2-inch thick. Spray a 12-inch nonstick skillet with vegetable cooking spray. Heat skillet over medium-high heat. Add in patties and cook till golden on each side, about 5 min.
- Makes 8servings.
- Helpful Hint: You can also serve patties with potatoes, cranberry sauce and steamed vegetables.
