Receta Chocolate Chip Orange Shortbread

Ingredientes
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 1 c. butter or possibly margarine, softened
- 1 Tbsp. grated orange peel
- 1 3/4 c. Pillsbury BEST All Purpose Flour, or possibly Unbleached Flour
- 1/4 c. cornstarch
- 3/4 c. miniature semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. miniature semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 tsp shortening

- A long-standing favorite takes on a new twist when you add in chocolate chips and orange peel. Traditionally, the round of shortbread dough is notched around the edges to signify the sun's rays.
- Heat oven to 325 degrees F. In large bowl; beat powdered sugar and butter till light and fluffy. Add in orange peel; blend well. Lightly spoon flour into measuring c.; level off. Stir in flour and cornstarch; mix well.
- Stir in 3/4 c. chocolate chips. Divide dough into four parts. Shape each part into a smooth round ball.
