Peanut butter, maple syrup, whole wheat flour, chocolate chips and coconut oil—that’s all it takes to create these Peanut Butter Easter Eggs. Simple enough?!

Often times we fall off track with our diet plans because of hectic schedules and no time to cook or bake. That’s why we like to fill our weight loss blog at The Leaf with plenty of easy-to-make recipes that require little time—so they’re perfect for people with time constraints who are trying to stick to their healthy meal plan. These Chocolate Peanut Butter Easter Eggs are no exception. They’re so delicious, you may just want to make them all year round!

To get started making these peanut-butter-filled desserts, thoroughly mix together peanut butter, syrup and whole wheat flour until a dough-like consistency has formed. Roll about a tablespoon of the peanut butter dough into egg-like shapes and place each “egg” on a lined baking sheet (we suggest using parchment or freezer paper!). Pop the peanut butter eggs in the freezer for about 30 minutes. While the eggs are freezing, begin melting chocolate with coconut oil in a microwave safe bowl.
