Receta Chopped Herring

Ingredientes
- 4 x Salt herring filets, soaked 12 hrs in cool water
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. Finely minced onion
- 5 c. Finely minced tart apple
- 2 x Hard-boiled Large eggs, finely minced
- 2 slc White bread, trimmed
- 3 Tbsp. Cider vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. Salad oil
- 1 tsp Sugar
Direcciones
- Change water in that the herring is soaking at least twice. Drain. Chop the herring as finely as possible. Combine with the onion, apple and Large eggs.
- Beat the vinegar with sugar and oil. Pour over the trimmed white bread, allowing it to soak for a few min.
- Add in soaked bread to the herring mix and chop till it is smooth.
- Correct seasoning (should be fairly tart) and chill.
