Receta Chow Mein Casserole

Ingredientes
- 1 lb hamburger
- 3 large stalks celery, minced
- 2 onions, minced
- 1 1/4 c. boiling water
- 1/2 c. c. rice, uncooked
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 can chicken and rice soup
- 4 ounce mushrooms
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 2 tsp. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. butter
- 1 1/2 c. chow mein noodles
Direcciones
- Cook and stir hamburger, celery and onion till hamburger is light brown, then drain. Pour water on rice and add in salt in greased 2 quart casserole.
- Stir in hamburger, soup, mushrooms, sugar, soy sauce and butter.
- Cover and cook in 350F oven for 30 minutes; stir. Cook uncovered for 30 minutes longer.
- Stir in noodles, serve immediately.
- Note: Water chestnuts or possibly bamboo shoots may be added if you like.
