Receta Cinnamon Hot Apple Sauce For Blintzes

Ingredientes
- 2 Tbsp. Unsalted butter
- 2 Tbsp. Heavy cream
- 1/2 c. Sugar
- 3/4 tsp Cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp. Grenadine syrup
- 1 Tbsp. Calvados or possibly apple brandy
- 2 c. Tart cooking apples -- Sliced
- 2 Tbsp. Lowfat sour cream
Direcciones
- Heat the butter in a medium skillet over moderate heat. Add in the sugar, syrup, and apple slices. Stir to coat the slices. Cover and cook, stirring once, till the apples are translucent/soft, about 5 min.
- Stir together the lowfat sour cream, heavy cream, and cornstarch. Stir the mix into the apples. Bring to the boil, cook for 1 minute, and remove from the heat. Stir in the Calvados.
