Receta Courgette Squash Burgers

Ingredientes
- 5 x Courgette (or possibly any other variety of summer squash)
- 2 Tbsp. Oil
- 4 x Garlic cloves
- 4 lrg Onions, diced
- 2 x Carrots, diced
- 1 x Green pepper, diced
- 5 Tbsp. Tahini or possibly peanut butter
- 3 Tbsp. Tamari
- 1/2 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Oregano
- 1/2 tsp Basil
- 1/2 tsp Sea salt
- 1/8 tsp Red pepper (optional)
- 1/2 c. Sesame seeds
- 1/2 c. Sunflower seed meal
- 1 c. Corn meal, or possibly flour, or possibly soy pwdr
Direcciones
- Slice the courgette and place in a large pot with 1/2 c. water, adding sufficient squash to fill the pot. Steam over medium heat for 7 min, till soft.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat; add in the garlic, onions, carrots, celery, and pepper; saute/fry for 7 min, until vegetables are tender.
- Drain the courgette and mash well. Add in the sauteed vegetables, tahini, seasonings, sesame seeds, sunflower seed meal, and corn meal. The batter should be thick not wet-add in flour if needed.
- Preheat oven to 375. Oil a cookie sheet. Using a Tbsp., make patties and place them on the sheet.
- Bake for 8 min on each side, till golden.
