Dining here is not an everyday affair as I live in Auckland and this restaurant is located in the beautiful island of Waiheke but one time when we visited the island together with some of my colleagues for a planning activity I have the opportunity to try them.
Located in the Oneroa just in the main commercial centre of Waiheke, it’s not highly visible from the street as it’s tucked on the side cliff between Oneroa village lane and Ocean View road. It’s not a big restaurant but there is an ample space.

,%20was%20quite%20tried%20as%20we%20just%20came%20from%20an%20activity%20where%20we%20zip%20lined%20though%20the%20forest%20downhill%20then%20walk%20back%20up%20so%20I%20finished%20the%20drink%20in%20several%20gulps.%20The%20beer%20was%20good%20(BTW%20they%20brew%20it%20there),%20light%20and%20crisp%20with%20some%20floral%20and%20citrus%20hints.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThen%20we%20placed%20our%20orders,%20like%20I%20said%20was%20tired%20and%20hungry%20so%20I%20got%20the%20Mixed%20Grill%20$33.00%20where%20it%20has%20everything%20like%20Barbecue%20Ribs,%20lamb%20kofta,%20skirt%20steak%20complemented%20with%20roasted%20vegetables,%20potato%20confit%20and%20tzatziki%20.%20I%20can%20smell%20my%20order%20while%20I%20was%20waiting%20making%20me%20even%20hungry,%20I%20recognize%20that%20skirt%20steak%20smell%20as%20I%20make%20this%20also%20at%20home,%20the%20burning%20meat%20aroma%20is%20just%20phenomenal.%20Now%20after%20that%20torture%20of%20waiting%20for%20you%20meal%20to%20arrive%20it%E2%80%99s%20time%20to%20devour%20it.%20The%20grilled%20steak%20was%20the%20first%20to%20try%20and%20it%E2%80%99s%20exactly%20how%20I%20wanted%20it,%20perfectly%20made,%20it%E2%80%99s%20flavourful%20and%20tender.%20The%20lamb%20kofta%20was%20good%20but%20a%20bit%20dry.%20Finally%20the%20ribs,%20as%20expected%20it%20tasted%20really%20great%20definitely%20you%20will%20lick%20the%20bones%20to%20get%20all%20those%20remaining%20flavours%20out%20of%20it.%20It%E2%80%99s%20quite%20a%20big%20meal%20and%20definitely%20will%20make%20a%20hungry%20meat%20eater%20happy.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20does%20not%20end%20there,%20a%20good%20meal%20has%20to%20end%20with%20a%20good%20dessert%20but%20since%20most%20of%20us%20had%20enough%20we%20ordered%20something%20to%20share,%20we%20grabbed%20some%20Sweet%20Gringo%20Chips%20$9.50.%20It%E2%80%99s%20like%20a%20dessert%20nacho,%20thin%20bread%20crisps%20are%20doused%20in%20sugar%20and%20cinnamon%20then%20topped%20with%20ice%20cream,%20brownie%20chunks%20and%20drilled%20with%20chocolate%20and%20caramel%20sauce.%20Four%20of%20us%20shared%20in%20one%20serving%20and%20its%20more%20than%20enough,%20it%E2%80%99s%20a%20good%20serving%20size.%20The%20dessert%20was%20great%20and%20I%20think%20I%20will%20make%20something%20similar%20in%20the%20future,%20this%20will%20definitely%20entertain%20a%20lot%20of%20people.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOverall%20I%20love%20their%20food,%20the%20place%20is%20really%20clean%20and%20the%20staff%20is%20really%20friendly%20making%20sure%20our%20needs%20are%20attended%20always.%20If%20I%20had%20the%20chance%20I%20want%20to%20try%20their%20eat%20all%20you%20can%20ribs%20but%20I%20will%20make%20sure%20I%20will%20be%20very%20hungry%20first%20before%20doing%20so.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECove%20Bites%20and%20Brews%20by%20Deep%20Creek%20Brewery%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAddress%20:%20149C%20Ocean%20View%20Road,%20Oneroa,%20Waiheke%20Island,%20Auckland%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPhone%20:%20093728209%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECove%20Bites%20Facebook%20Page%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELike%20Loading...%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
