December is a busy time for most people with family gatherings, parties and all the events involved with the holiday season so in an effort to make life easier we decided our recipes this month would be appetizers. Easy, delicious recipes that you can make for your family while you watch your favorite holiday movie or maybe something to take to a holiday gathering. These sausage balls are my fast and easy take on an old favorite. Since I always have crescent rolls on hand this was a no brainer for me!

Ingredientes
- 1/2 pound of mild breakfast sausage, cooked and drained
- 2 packages (8 ounces each) Crescent rolls
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
Direcciones
- Brown the sausage in a pan and make sure that you drain off any grease before putting it into a bowl. Let it cool slightly before adding the cheddar cheese. Stir to combine. Meanwhile on a cookie sheet lay out the 16 triangles of Crescent roll dough. Spoon (approximately 1 tablespoon each) the sausage/cheese mixture onto the larger end of each Crescent roll. Take the larger end of the roll and fold the corners of the dough over the sausage mixture and begin rolling the âballâ down to the smaller point until you have formed a ball. Tuck everything up nicely so nothing leaks out while baking and place on the cookie sheet so that all the balls are evenly spaced. Bake 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Serves 16
