Ingredientes

  • 2 Tbsp. minced coriander root and stem
  • 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 x chilli finely minced
  • 2 tsp grnd turmeric
  • 1 Tbsp. liquid honey
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 812 x chicken thighs or possibly drumsticks
  • 3 Tbsp. minced (coriander leaves)

Direcciones

  1. Combine the first eight ingredients in a food processor and blend till smooth.
  2. Coat the chicken pcs in the marinade and leave for at least 10 min preferably overnight.
  3. Barbecue the chicken for 5 min each side or possibly till thoroughly cooked and slightly charred. Roll the chicken in the coriander leaves before serving with barbecued potato wedges and a cucumber and lowfat yoghurt salad.
  4. Useful tip: to avoid burning food on the outside and leaving the inside raw prepare the barbecue well in advance so which the charcoal has lost most of the redness and has turned a silvery white.
  5. Also keep a plant spray filled with beer (it adds to the flavour) to douse the unwanted flareup
