Ingredientes

  • half cup cooked toor/tuvar dal
  • 1/4tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tomato chopped
  • 1/2 cup shallots
  • few curry leaves
  • 2 green chillis slit
  • a pinch of asafoetida
  • 1/4 cup tamarind extract
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • salt to taste
  • For the seasoning
  • 2 Tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  • 2 red chillies
  • 2 Tbsp sambar powder
  • Heat a pan. Add 2 Tbsp of oil
