Receta Easy French Toast
Very easy and fulfilling breakfast for people who is always on the go.
Ingredientes
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup fresh milk
- 4 pieces of bread
- pinch of salt
- pinch of nutmeg
- pinch if cinnamon (optional)
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
Direcciones
- Beat the eggs in a bowl.
- Pour in the fresh milk, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Whisk evenly, set aside.
- Place the 4 pieces of bread on a shallow dish, side by side.
- Pour in the egg and milk mixture and let it soak for a few minutes.
- Heat a non-stick pan, put on the butter and let it melt.
- Fry the bread till it is golden brown on each sides.
- Top with maple syrup or sprinkle with confectioner's sugar --optional.
- Cut into triangles.
- Serve hot.
