Receta Easy Prep Tomato Salsa
I make this salsa, if I can't find good tomatoes.
The cost of this is more like 38 cents, not what is stated. If you do it in bulk and can it, it's even cheaper.
Ingredientes
- 14.5 oz. can petite diced tomatoes, drained - save liquid
- 1 small jalapeno, blackened
- 3-4 scallions, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. olive oil
- juice of 1/2 lime
- 1 tbs. cilantro leaves
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- don't add salt until you taste the salsa
Direcciones
- Blacken the jalapeno and put it in a covered bowl.
- Saute onion in oil until translucent.
- Seed jalapeno, coarsely chop.
- Put everything in a blender, and process until smooth. If the blender won't work, add a bit of the tomato liquid.
- Best served warm, or room temp.
