.%20My%20second%20cup%20gets%20sipped%20along%20with%20my%20'brunch'..which%20I%20usually%20eat%20around%2010%20or%20so.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAfter%20I%20posted%20last%20week%20about%20my%20'birthday%20goal'%20I%20made%20these.%20I%20went%20to%20a%20bunch%20of%20different%20websites%20for%20quotes%20and%20thought%20if%20I%20had%20a%20little%20tear%20off,%20quote%20a%20day%20thing,%20I'd%20get%20into%20it%20more.%20I%20haven't...but%20it%20was%20a%20good%20idea%20right?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20morning%20I%20woke%20up%20more%20resolved.%20Fueled%20by%20pictures%20that%20were%20taken%20of%20me%20over%20the%20weekend%20(barf.)%20I%20knew%20I%20had%20to%20change.%20I%20know%20NOW%20I%20HAVE%20to%20stick%20with%20it.%20I%20don't%20have%20a%20choice.%20I%20WILL%20hit%20my%20birthday%20goal...and%20I%20have%2066%20days%20to%20do%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20quotes%20really%20are%20good...I%20can't%20help%20but%20really%20like%20the%20first%20one%20%22Nothing%20changes%20if%20nothing%20changes%22%20VERY%20true,%20right?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELast%20night%20I%20prayed%20(well..I%20pray%20every%20night,%20but%20anyway)-I%20prayed%20that%20I'd%20wake%20up%20with%20a%20drive%20to%20change.%20And%20you%20know%20what?%20I%20did.%20Baby%20Boy%20woke%20up%20and%20I%20nursed%20him,%20then%20instead%20of%20curling%20up%20and%20going%20back%20to%20sleep,%20I%20took%20him%20in%20the%20living%20room%20with%20me,%20turned%20on%20True%20Blood,%20pulled%20on%20my%20Shape-Ups,%20and%20got%20on%20the%20treadmill..I%20got%20in%2030%20minutes%20before%20my%20Toddler%20Girl%20woke%20up%20and%20wanted%20to%20exercise%20with%20me.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBut%20it's%2030%20minutes%20more%20than%20I%20did%20yesterday!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI'm%20not%20sure%20why%20I%20opted%20for%20egg%20salad.%20It's%20not%20like%20it's%20especially%20healthy,%20OR%20that%20I%20especially%20like%20it.%20But%20I%20thought%20eggs='s%20protein,%20and%20um,%20I%20really%20need%20to%20do%20something%20with%20the%20hard%20boiled%20in%20the%20fridge...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Emixy-mixy.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20ate%20it%20over%20a%20simple%20salad%20that%20I%20dressed%20with%20a%20little%20lemon%20juice,%20olive%20oil,%20and%20salt/pepper.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20I%20ate%20it%20s.l.o.w.l.y.%20and%20now%20I'm%20pleasantly%20full.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMeanwhile%20the%20bad%20boy%20below%20is%20staring%20me%20down%20on%20the%20stovetop...I%20had%20a%20LARGE%20piece%20yesterday,%20and%20I%20SHOULD%20have%20sent%20the%20rest%20home%20with%20my%20in-laws.%20I%20don't%20have%20the%20heart%20to%20throw%20it%20away...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20can't%20tell%20you%20HOW%20MANY%20TIMES%20I%20told%20myself%20this%20morning%20%22Don't%20eat%20the%20cake%20for%20breakfast%22.%20The%20little%20devil%20on%20my%20shoulder%20kept%20whispering%20about%20how%20good%20it%20would%20go%20with%20my%20coffee...how%20much%20better%20it%20would%20taste%20than%20my%20egg%20salad...but%20I%20resisted.%20And%20then%20I%20looked%20at%20pictures%20of%20myself%20from%20this%20weekend%20again...and%20concentrated%20on%20feeling%20full%20and%20satisfied.%20So%20the%20poor%20cake%20will%20stay%20on%20the%20stove..and%20I%20will.not.touch.it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20fact%20I%20should%20make%20it%20a%20point%20to%20not%20touch%20things%20like%20that%20for%2066%20days..it%20would%20be%20helpful%20to%20my%20goal...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eoh%20and%20egg%20salad?%20it%20was%20good...I've%20never%20been%20a%20huge%20fan%20of%20it..but%20it%20was%20an%20excellent%20brunch%20and%20I%20have%20enough%20to%20do%20the%20same%20tomorrow%20if%20I%20want.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
