Receta Ginisang Monggo (Monggo Beans stew)
Monggo beans has been one of the primary meal of any Filipino family. Everyone has tried this for sure. It can be used as a substitute for rice too. I like to eat it as is without rice.
Ingredientes
- 1 500gpack Munggo or Mung bean
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 kilo chicken leg (thinly cuts)
- 1 cup Ampalaya leave
- 2 pcs medium sized tomatoes (chopped)
- 1 medium sized onion (chopped)
- 3 tbsp fish sauce
- 24 ounces water
- Salt to taste
Direcciones
- Place the Munggo or Mung bean in the pressure cooker with water and boil for 10 minutes
- Saute the garlic,onions, tomatoes then add the chicken and simmer for 5 mins
- Add the fish sauce and simmer for about 15 minutes or until the Chicken meat is tender
- Pour the cooked Mung beans and String Beans then simmer for 10 minutes, now add the vegetables leaves
- Add salt to taste
- Serve hot with Fried fish or Pork.
