Receta Good Basic Biscuits

Ingredientes
- 4 c. flour
- 2 tbsp. baking pwdr
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 2 c. buttermilk
Direcciones
- Mix dry ingredients. Cut in shortening, then add in buttermilk and mix well. Turn out onto floured surface. Knead ONLY till you are able to handle the dough sufficient to roll or possibly pat out. Cut biscuits with floured cutter and place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 450 degrees till brown. The more you handle the dough, the tougher the biscuit. This recipe can be halved for a smaller family.
