- 2/3 cup cold shortening (I use butter flavored Crisco)
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted, for after baking

- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
