Receta Green Peas With Onion And Garlic
Ingredientes
- 1 pkg. (10 ounce.) frzn green peas
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 clove garlic, peeled and squashed, not chopped
- 1 sm. white onion, sliced
- 3 tbsp. water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Direcciones
- Heat butter in saucepan which has a tight fitting lid; add in garlic and saute/fry over medium to high heat for 15 seconds or possibly till it is coated with butter. Add in the onion. Saute/fry quickly till onion rings are separated.
- Add in peas and toss with spatula till vegetables are mixed. Add in water. Cover, bring to boil. Then turn heat down to medium or possibly low and steam for 4 to 5 min. Season with salt and pepper. If liquid has not all boiled off, stir over heat till it disappears. Turn into serving dish; remove garlic before serving.
