Ingredientes
- 1/4 c. mayonnaise plus
- 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
- 1/4 c. lowfat sour cream
- 1 Tbsp. thyme honey
- 1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
- 3 c. shredded green cabbage (about 1/2 head cabbage)
- 2 x Granny Smith apples cored, and cut into matchsticks
- 1 lrg carrot peeled, shredded
- 1 x Belgian endive cored, and cut crosswise into 1/2" thick slices
- 1/2 c. very thinly-sliced yellow onion (preferably sweet onion, such as Maui or possibly Walla Walla)
- 1/4 c. chopped fresh parsley
Direcciones
- In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, lowfat sour cream, honey, vinegar, salt, and pepper, and whisk well. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine green cabbage, apples, carrot, endive, onion and parsley. Toss with the dressing till proportionately coated. Place in the refrigerator, covered, to refrigerateslightly before serving.
- This recipe yields 6 to 8 servings.
