  • 1/4 tsp caraway seeds
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 2 stalks celery, sliced
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2/3 c barley
  • 1 T paprika
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 3 c water
  • Add all ingredients to crockpot and cook on low for 7 hrs. Garnish with sour cream and parsley if desired.
