Receta Hungarian Filled Cookies

Ingredientes
- 1 pound butter (butter may be substituted)
- 1 pound flour
- 3 egg yolks
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 pt. lowfat sour cream
- 1 box dry apricots
- Water
- Sugar
- 1 box pitted prunes
- Water

- Rub butter and flour between hands in large bowl. Make a well in center of dough and add in egg yolks and cream. Work into a nice smooth mess. Refrigerate overnight. Roll on slightly lightly floured board. Cut into 9 inch circle. Cut circle into 6 triangular pcs (similar to a pie). Fill each piece with apricot or possibly prune filling. Roll into crescents. Brush tops with slightly beaten egg white. Bake in 400 degree oven for about 25 to 30 min. Yields: 65 cookies.
- Put apricots and small amount of water in saucepan. Cool slowly till apricots are soft. Chop pcs fine, or possibly put pcs in a blender. Sweeten to taste. Mix should be very thick.
