%20pretty%20much%20the%20entire%20year%20and%20most%20of%20the%20recipes%20there,%20especially%20the%20noodle%20dishes,%20called%20for%20the%20use%20of%20a%20wok%20or%20a%20good-size%20skillet%20so%20I%20had%20to%20temporarily%20shelve%20my%20pressure%20cooker.%20I%20totally%20enjoyed%20making%20each%20and%20every%20dish%20in%20that%20cookbook%20but%20now%20that%20I%E2%80%99m%20done,%20I%20have%20decided%20I%20need%20to%20make%20more%20dishes%20with%20my%20instant%20pot.%20So%20here%E2%80%99s%20another%20delicious%20recipe%20that%20can%20be%20made%20so%20easily%20in%20the%20instant%20pot.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHaving%20grown%20up%20eating%20food%20with%20the%20flavors%20of%20garlic,%20ginger,%20soy%20sauce%20and%20sesame%20oil%20%E2%80%93%20I%20knew%20that%20any%20marinade%20made%20with%20this%20combo%20would%20be%20superb%20in%20flavor%20and%20would%20make%20any%20dish%20shine.%20So,%20it%20was%20a%20no-brainer%20to%20make%20a%20beef%20dish%20using%20this%20combo%20of%20flavor.%20Inspired%20by%20my%20Korean%20ground%20beef%20recipe%20(where%20I%20used%20a%20lot%20of%20fresh%20ginger!)%20and%20by%20a%20Taste%20of%20Home%20slow%20cooker%20Sesame%20Garlic%20Beef%20dish,%20I%20decided%20to%20adapt%20both%20recipes%20for%20the%20instant%20pot%20as%20it%E2%80%99s%20so%20convenient%20and%20that%20way%20%20I%20didn%E2%80%99t%20need%20to%20wait%20for%20an%20entire%20day%20to%20make%20the%20dish.%20And%20it%20worked%20so%20well!%20The%20addition%20of%20fresh%20ginger%20truly%20made%20a%20lot%20of%20difference.%20My%20entire%20family%20totally%20gobbled%20this%20up%20and,%20naturally,%20this%20would%20now%20be%20on%20our%20rotation%20and%20would%20be%20served%20to%20many%20friends%20and%20guests%20in%20the%20future.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EInstant%20Pot%20Korean%20Sesame%20Garlic%20Beef%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThese%20Korean-style%20beef%20strips%20are%20melt-in-your-mouth%20tender%20and%20super%20tasty.%20The%20delicious%20marinade%20with%20garlic,%20ginger,%20soy%20sauce%20and%20sesame%20oil%20totally%20permeates%20the%20beef%20and%20gives%20it%20so%20much%20flavor.%20Plus,%20it%E2%80%99s%20cooked%20in%20the%20instant%20pot%20so%20it%E2%80%99s%20a%20breeze%20to%20make.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E4%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Etbsp%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Esesame%20seeds,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Etoasted%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E3%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E4-6%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Estalks%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Egreen%20onions,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Esliced%20thinly%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIf%20your%20sesame%20seeds%20are%20not%20pre-toasted,%20dry%20fry%20them%20in%20a%20skillet%20or%20frying%20pan%20until%20nicely%20browned%20but%20not%20burned.%20Divide%20in%20half%20and%20set%20aside.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESlice%20the%20beef%20sirloin%20into%20thin%20strips.%20Set%20aside.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20bowl,%20combine%20the%20brown%20sugar,%20soy%20sauce,%20water,%20sesame%20oil,%20half%20of%20the%20roasted%20sesame%20seeds,%20ginger,%20garlic%20and%20flour.%20Add%20the%20beef%20strips%20and%20mix%20well%20to%20ensure%20the%20beef%20is%20well%20coated%20with%20the%20marinade.%20Let%20sit%20in%20the%20fridge%20for%20a%20few%20hours%20or%20overnight.%20If%20short%20on%20time,%20marinate%20for%20at%20least%201%20hour.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPour%20in%20the%20beef%20and%20its%20marinade%20into%20the%20instant%20pot.%20Cover%20the%20instant%20pot%20and%20secure%20the%20lid%20(make%20sure%20it's%20on%20sealing%20position).%20Select%20Manual%20and%20cook%20on%20high%20for%2020%20minutes.%20Once%20done,%20allow%20a%20natural%20release.%20Carefully%20remove%20the%20lid.%20Use%20the%20Saut%C3%A9%20function%20to%20allow%20the%20sauce%20to%20thicken,%20if%20desired.%20%20Transfer%20the%20meat%20to%20a%20dish%20and%20sprinkle%20with%20the%20remaining%20sesame%20seeds%20and%20slice%20green%20onions.%20Serve%20immediately%20with%20hot%20rice.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
